For my Capstone Experience – Business Project, I ran a basketball tournament for Lonestar Basketball. The goal of this tournament was to bring a basketball tournament to the Bryan/College Station area, where we could showcase the talent in the area. We targeted 7th and 8th grade middle school teams, both boys and girls. We did this because there are five middle schools in the Bryan and College Station area, and we knew how hard it was for middle schools to find school tournaments close to where they are. We were successful in getting all five local teams plus Montgomery Junior High. The tournament took place on December 2nd at Legends Event Center.
