2024 Bolivia International Sport Leadership Program Description
This study abroad program to Bolivia aims to introduce Texas A&M students to leadership and management styles, business practices, marketing strategies, and governance of multinational or international sport and fitness organizations. Sports and fitness are global passions. As companies continue to diversify, there is a growing need for industry professionals to be able to effectively communicate with people from all walks of life. One of the main objectives of this program is for students to have the opportunity to develop and enhance cultural competence, a set of skills integral to the success of sport and fitness professionals. Through a variety of site visits and interactive events, students will learn about and experience unique cultures and traditions, as well as gain a fundamental understanding of how sports business is conducted within South America. Plus, students will have a chance to engage with local communities and communicate with others in a pre-dominantly Spanish speaking country.
Bolivia is considered one of the most remote countries in the world and encompasses a unique blend of rich cultural diversity, sports and physical activity, adventure, delicious cuisine, hospitable people, and breathtaking landscape. The 2024 Faculty-Led A&M International Sport Leadership Summer Program presents a once-in-a lifetime opportunity for our students. DO NOT MISS OUT!
